Managed Services Support Engineer

Peer Technologies has an opening for an entrepreneurial, curious, support engineer seeking to have a measurable impact on client operations.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Answering, diagnosing, and resolving a wide variety of computer, network, and application help desk calls

  • Onsite and off-site resolution of client technical issues

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years professional experience in information technology with preference towards Microsoft Windows environments

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with most of the following products or technologies:

    • Windows Server 2000/2003

    • Windows Exchange Server

    • Windows XP Professional Desktop

    • Microsoft Outlook

    • Microsoft Office Suite

    • Cisco IOS

    • VERITAS Backup / Windows Backup

    • VPNs

Desired Experience

  • System administration and troubleshooting with eClinical Works, Centricity, Greenway, or other integrated practice management/EHR systems.

Personality Traits:

  • A passion for technology and track record of continuing education.

  • Detail oriented, methodical, meticulous, and process-oriented.

  • Ambitious self-starter with get-it-done attitude who strives for results and performs well under pressure.

  • Good communicator and collaborator with strong verbal and written skills.

  • Ability to thrive in an entrepreneurial, fast paced environment.

  • Unwavering focus on client satisfaction.
