Sales and Business Development Manager

Peer Technologies is looking for an intelligent and talented sales person to join our team.  In this role you will create and implement marketing plans, contact prospective clients, set meetings, present Peer’s Managed Technology Services, write proposals, and eventually obtain contracts for service delivery.  

This key position requires strong sales and relationship building skills and exceptional customer service skills.  This position requires a strong knowledge of the challenges facing small and medium business and the ability to seamlessly relate to company leaders.

Compensation is base salary plus commission.  Peer Technologies is based in NW Portland and provides a fantastic working environment, full benefits, and a free lunch every Friday.    

Primary Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement marketing programs for the SMB market in Portland metro area.

  • Through telemarketing, networking, tradeshows, and any other means you find effective set appointments with clients to present Peer’s services.

  • Work with clients to develop proposals the meet client needs.  Obtain contracts for service delivery.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key individuals at clients and serve as primary client advocate.

  • Performance expectations - Identify and close at least two new clients monthly.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 1 of year professional sales experience with documented results.

  • College degree

  • Unwavering focus on client satisfaction.

  • Strong sense of ethics and desire to make a meaningful contribution.

  • Excellent presenting and public speaking skills.

Personality Traits:

  • Intellectually curious, eager to learn, unafraid to ask hundreds of questions.

  • Detail oriented, methodical, and meticulous.

  • Ambitious self-starter with get-it-done attitude who strives for results and performs well under pressure.

  • Good communicator and collaborator with strong verbal and written skills.
